In south Indian wedding morada bagina plays an great role. Mora is made out of bamboo.It is also used to clean lentils and cereals.In olden days new born babies were first kept in new mora and then in a cradle.During wedding Mora, filled with 5 types of lentils,rice,jaggery,salt Haldi,kukkum,blouse piece mirror. comb, black beads etc.. given as a gift. it is called"Morada bagina".During Gowri festival also "Morada bagina" is given as a gift.These are a few morada bagina That I have decorated for my nephew's wedding.
